Hi, I'm David. This is my personal site, a place where I can write about things that interest me or, more often, nothing at all. It's also a workshop where I can play with web development tools. In a time when everyone has some kind of presence online, I felt I had to stake out my own bit of territory. Also, Facebook scares the heck out of me.
I'm still working on the site design. I keep coming up with new ideas, none of which strike me as perfect. I'd like to thank Corey for her constructive criticism. Those icons were pretty bad now that I look at them again.

Those icons were pretty bad now that I look at them again. Now I'm having trouble with the top banner/header image. I can't figure out a way to make it "pop" so to speak. I'm going to stick with the overall structure and layout. I like that it's solid and clean while giving me ample room to play around. I finally have three columns to work with! Just a quick update while I still tool around a bit. This paragraph also serves as good filler :)
